Success After High School Project for Latinx Students
The Hispanic population is the fastest growing pre-college population in Idaho, but suffer from postsecondary completion rates below 10%.
RISE and participating partners (College of Western Idaho, Boise State University, and Nampa School District) are developing a project to address the gap in post-secondary attainment for LatinX students. Our strategies are still forming but this project will:
Support and resources for families and students in Canyon County
Move the needle on post-secondary attainment for Latinx students
Address cultural and system barriers for degree attainment
This project is still in development. Reach out to our Partnership Coordinator if you’d like to get involved!
