Senior Exit Survey

Idaho has a low rate of students enrolling in post-secondary education and attaining credentials.

RISE and participating school districts administered a senior exit survey to graduating students to collect important information that helps schools in their efforts to prepare students for postsecondary success. The survey focuses on discovering the following about current high school students:

  • Support and resources being accessed in school

  • Plans and expectations beyond high school

  • Barriers and challenges to achieving their career goals

Over the past five years RISE has collected over 20,000 responses from graduating high school seniors. In 2018, we achieved a 4 year high of an 84% response rate from participating schools. This data is provided to schools through learning opportunities to help them provide the best supports and services based on their students’ voices.
